Main purpose of the job / Mission岗位 / 任务 目标:

The PureSOx scrubber solution for marine applications has been developped by Alfa Laval to help the marine industry to comply with sulphur emission limits. Demand for the Pure Sox is growing fast. To provide service to yards and ship owners, a team of site support engineers will be formed with base in Shanghai. Main mission is to provide site support service to customers, mainly on yards and on vessels during dry-dock. Jobs can last for a longer period (several weeks) of time in a hotel or apartment and requires frequent travelling within China. Reporting to EGC Hub manager.

Key tasks主要工作职责:

? Incoming goods inspection for transport damage and presence

? Preparations for installation jobs at customer’s or yards sites

? Regular installation supervision according P&ID and other installation instructions

? Supervision of build-up of scrubber

? Check of component and product functionality and set-up

? I/O check, cold wire check; valves, dampers, pumps rotation check

? Reports daily progress to PM and warranty coordinator

? Inform when installation is ready for commissioning

? Timely submission of time sheets, expense reports, etc.

? Assisting engineering department with various jobs upon request

? Other allied jobs, which are assigned by the Company/supervisor from time to time.

Competencies, experience and attitudes to do the job 岗位所需技能、经验及态度:

Knowledge & Skills:

1. Marine Engineering background with good hands-on electrical and mechanical technical skills. (Degree in Electrical Marine Engineering and/or with a sailing experience as Electrical Officer also acceptable.)

2. Minimum 3 years experience as a Marine Engineer, on board or on a yard, or equivalent;
