Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar is looking for an enthusiastic superstar to join our team!

Personality & Skills:

We are looking for someone who will represent our friendly and professional service philosophy. A proactive attitude that translates to a high performance mindset and outstanding attention to detail will also be brought by the successful applicant. Reporting to the Venues Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and talented and fun team. Your main focus will be managing the day to day operations in our Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional service is provided to all visitors.
• Liaise with food & beverage teams to ensure venue standards are upheld.
• Set up procedures to protect and maintain restaurant service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry out regular stocktaking.
• Maintain effective communication with the team in regards to upcoming events and venue requirements. Eg, weekly meetings with management team and kitchen brigade.
• Ensure all mise-en-place is completed prior to visitor’s arrival.
• Assist the team by identifying operational training requirements within the venues in accordance with SOPs and best practice.
• Supporting, managing and motivating our operations team to always perform beyond client expectations.
• Set up, pack down and coordination of events on the day when required
• Coordination of cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, and utensils and other materials and equipment
• Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
• Handle any escalated visitor complaints to a positive outcome.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within the outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.

Specific Requirements:

• Previous experience in a high volume venue
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays
• Excellent communication skills
• Being a true hospitality professional dedicated to providing customer service excellence
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
