Your responsibilities

• Hub(local) risk review policy annul update based on global BL policy and training to related departments and providing guidance on contract related matters to cross-department business team members in Sales, Procurement and Project (operation) Management from the sales phase throughout the project lifecycle and participate in contract negotiations and claim negotiations.
• Draft, review, analyze and comment contractual tender terms and conditions in close cooperation with the tender team, taking into account risk, pricing, scope and schedule and highlight areas of risks and opportunities.
• Ensuring with Project (product operation) Management proper execution of contracts (from commercial & contractual perspective), enforcement and defense of claims and the development of a claim strategy (in conjunction with Legal if litigation is likely), in close cooperation with the project (operation) core team and liaising with the Legal Department regarding major claims and critical developments in sales, procurement and throughout the project lifecycle. Support the Legal Department in dispute resolution and litigation activities.
• Actively participating and fully involving in the risk review and project reviews processes from a contractual and risk perspective and ensure adherence to the relevant instructions. Take lead and prepare risk review materials and coordinate with risk review attendance to arrange the risk review meeting which is in line with global risk review policy.
• Cooperating with import and export team to provide advice for questions related to export control as well as export risk insurance, bank guarantees, letter of credits, insurance and taxes and credit control, including but not limited to in charge of purchasing credit report and apply credit accordingly. Annual credit assessment. Credit policy of channel management review and update.
• Standard contract annual review and update and POA annual review and update, any other jobs related with commercial and legal coordination internally and externally.

Your background

• Should have minimum 5-10 years of experience in legal/contract management within international environment.
• Experience in direct contracts negotiation in English language. Good communication and negotiation skill and willing to travel.
• Strong business background of developing contract strategy based on company’s policies, customer requirements.
• Tenacious for facing to difficulties and working under pressure and self-driven and experienced to operate at the strategic, tactical and operational levels.
• Service minded and with the mindset to support the business process optimization and change management.
• Should be fluent communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese and must have teamwork spirit.
