- Generate test cases based on software, firmware specifications and system requirement document.
- Test software releases by executing assigned tests
- Identify, analyze and document defects based on function, output, online screen or content.
- Document defects into defect tracking database
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and report defects status to technical lead.
- Retest resolved defects and update test cases based on discovered defects.
How will you get here?
I. Education
- Diploma in Engineering,Computer Science,Molecular Biology or related technical diploma
- Preferably with software quality experience.
III. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Some knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Some knowledge in creating test cases.
- Enjoy the challenge of testing boundary or edge cases that break software.
- Able to provide usability feedback.
