You will be part of the Mixed Signal IP Development team chartered to deliver HSIO IP to the SOC team across Intel for the latest server and desktop products.
 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop Architecture and Micro-architecture specifications for the Logic component working closely with system architects.

• Implement specifications/design in RTL.

• Work with pre-silicon validation/verification team to develop test plans and verification collaterals.

• Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing.

• Provides IP integration support to SoC customers and represents the RTL team.

• Work with post-silicon validation teams to resolve silicon level sightings.

• Possibly leading a small team of engineers through any of the above.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• You will need 12 years BS or 10 years MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

• Experience with Analog Design and Analog Behavior modelling is a plus.

• Advanced computer architecture, communications theory, and/or micro-architecture design concepts.

• Experience with Hardware Description Languages System Verilog.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Solid analytical and debugging skills, and creative in problem-solving.

• Experience with Scripting languages e.g. Perl, shell, and Python is highly desirable.

Preferred:

• You will need to have logic design.

• Experience working with some or multiple layers of an IO protocol stack e.g. PCIe, Intel QPI/UPI, Thunderbolt, 02.3 Ethernet, SAS/SATA, and USB.

• Knowledge of Back-End (Physical/Structural Design) flow is a plus.

• Knowledge of UVM/OVM techniques is a plus.
