As a member of Power Management team, you will be prototyping low-power solutions for various design blocks. You will be collaborating with architects, RTL and Platform, and software teams to analyze and implement low-power solutions for next generation Intel GPU products. As a Firmware Intern you will be responsible for development and Post-silicon debug to support microcontroller firmware for a variety of technologies. This role will provide the opportunity to use your technical knowledge of firmware development to deliver IP firmware content for microcontrollers platform firmware and other execution environments. We work closely with partners across Intel and we are looking for a SoC Design Engineer Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Requirements
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field:
6+ months of experience in the following:
- Microarchitecture OR Firmware OR C/C++
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience in some of the following: C/C++, Assembly, Python or Perl.
Must be available to for 6+ months Internship.
