Job Description

Come intern for one of the largest semiconductor companies in the world. The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) summer internship program is an immersive experience for students looking to build their technical skill and learn about Intel's FPGA business. PSG is responsible for Intel's programmable logic devices and forms part of Intel's Data Platform's Group.

Students hired into this program will spend 10-12 weeks working with the Programmable Solutions Group alongside one of our world-class teams. Internship assignments will range from working with our customer experience group, business groups, strategy and marketing teams. All internship projects will be technical and give you exposure to PSG's product portfolio and business processes.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Work on challenging technical projects that help drive critical business and organizational goals.
  • Learn about Intel's FPGA products and business.
  • Build a robust technical and business acumen.
  • Attend intern exclusive events that provide countless professional development and networking opportunities.
  • Receive coaching and mentoring from our internal network of professionals

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Qualifications

Candidate must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Master´s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 6+ months of experience in Programming experience (VHDL/Verilog/ C++/Perl/Python or TCL).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FPGAs.
  • Experience with Digital Logic.
  • Experience in Verilog and system Verilog.
  • Experienced in running design simulation.
  • Experienced in writing simulation test cases.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
