As the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Business Unit within Intel, we will continue drive the future of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. PSG continues to deliver industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers, and to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, the FPGA/ASIC Engineering Team is seeking a SoC Front End Design Engineer to join our team.
As a SoC Front End Design Engineer, you will:
Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC development.
Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
Define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
Perform Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.
Perform all aspects of the SoC design flow (e.g. high-level design, synthesis, timing analysis, etc.).
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of total experience. Experience should include
RTL design and/or verification
Scripting (e.g. Python, TCL, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of design experience
Experience with at least 1 design from concept to tape-out
Experience in SOC architecture definition, synthesis, Static Timing analysis, LINT, CDC.
Master's in Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
