We're looking for a highly motivated, talented engineer to join Intel's client power-performance group, to be a part of leading edge SoC projects ever done before. In this role, you will join the team running key execution roles in power estimation and optimization, work with project power modeling owners, develop tools, flows and methodologies in power estimation/optimization domain, and play a major role in project power convergence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high productivity power estimation tools, flows and methods through design automation
• Run back-end signoff power execution using both industry tools and inhouse tools-flows and methodologies
• Collaborate, co-develop, and execute with SoC power modeling team
• Run technology readiness studies and engage with design automation engineers to assimilate estimation features to production

Qualifications

• B.SC in Computer Science or Computers Engineering or Computer and Software Engineering
• 5+ years or Design Automation and/or CAD experience in the field of VLSI
• Experience with signoff back-end power tools - advantage
• High coding and scripting abilities
• Coding - CSH, Tcl, Python, SQL - advantage
