As a Social Engagement Designer, you will be an integral part of our engagement team, creating and delivering image, infographic, and video content in support of our passionate, noisy educator community.  

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Manage and design a variety of social engagement projects, presentations, and events for the Flipgrid community. 
  • Deliver effective, engaging, and innovative creative works that are optimized across multiple social media channels and our digital experience. 
  • Collaborate with our Engagement team to deliver on-brand creative that aligns to planned social campaigns and events throughout the year. 
  • Develop social media and brand guidelines alongside Design, Product, and Engagement teams to ensure a cohesive and accessible brand experience. 
  • Evaluate data and deliver insights back to the business in a way that benefits the Flipgrid team and the wider teams we engage. 

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects is a must. 
  • Proficiency in photography, video, video editing, and motion graphics. 
  • Ability to partner effectively with internal teams to create clarity and deliver successful results. 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and operate in an environment that changes quickly. 
  • Understanding of broader digital marketing channels and the ability to align social strategy into an omnichannel campaign  
  • Ability to create dynamic and easy-to-update resources for non-designer Engagement team members. 

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience creating data visualization visuals, like infographics, is a plus. 
  • Experience in working with prototyping tools, like Figma, is a plus. 

 

A creative portfolio showcasing both video and raster/vector work is required. Please include a URL or PDF.
