The Social Media Internship is focused on developing content to help build the Bentley brand and drive key marketing objectives across social media platforms. The Paid & Social Media Team intern will apply strong writing skills and creativity to help bring Bentley user stories, thought leadership, and product news to life on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram.

 

Location: Philadelphia, PA

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop customer story assets for social media that include attention grabbing copy and awe-inspiring visuals (imagery or video).
• Help report on and analyze performance of social media posts to inform social content strategy and other marketing opportunities (messaging, creative strategy, etc…).
• Review existing Bentley thought leadership materials for opportunities to distribute on social channels.
• Monitor competitive (benchmark peers and direct competitors) and industry influencer social channels to assess for opportunities to evolve Bentley’s social media content.
• Participate in weekly social content workshops to review weekly content calendar and bring out-of-the-box thinking to the table.

 

 Requirements:

• Preferred Marketing, Social Media, Communications, or Public Relations major
• Previous internship experience in a related field is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram)
• Desire to apply both creative (right brain) and analytical skills (left brain) to help drive results
• Strong writing skills
• Curiosity about the role that Bentley software plays in bringing outstanding infrastructure projects to life across the globe
• Self-starter who is able to think quickly and work well with a team.
