Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead and implement ground-breaking and creative strategies for channels [Own Site/APP] and Tmall Pavilion Doors for building brands’ [M] overall social media presence/audience across platforms in China.
- Working closely with different teams to launch M with strong presence on different social media platform
- Strong communications skills to be able to liaise with different teams (Editorial, Ecommerce, Operations, Loyalty and EIP services) in the Joint venture and HQ teams on social calendar planning and strategy
- Working closely with the content team to devise and implement an overarching localized content plan and calendar
- Advise on content and help co-ordinate communications from PR, Marketing, Editorial and translation teams.
- Lead and plan the KOL and blogger strategy with dual goal of both “branding” and also sales driven strategies to increase conversion and sales on different social media platforms (e.g. Weibo, Wechat, etc)
- Remain ahead of social media trends and lead and manage agencies to create and execute innovative social media strategies and partnerships for different channels [Own Site/APP] and Tmall Pavilion Doors
- Lead the negotiations also with partnerships for social media exchange and cooperation
- Oversee local China shooting for KOLs.
MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for budget management, planning and execution.
- Guide and lead the team, ensuring they are inspired, engaged and motivated
- Constantly seeking to be the best and exceed expectations
- Plan and implement an overarching strategy for the team
- Organize and maintain favorable commercial agreements with agencies and ensure timely delivery of new initiatives, collaborations and campaigns
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Passionate about social media and new technologies
- User of diverse social media platforms and new technologies
- Proven track record of executing social media strategies at a global level
- Tenacious attitude with solid judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Well-rounded negotiation skills
- Pro-active and willing to share ideas with the wider team
- Extremely well organized, methodical, and efficient, with a good dose of common sense, humor and initiative
- A creative thinker and innovator
- Confidence in taking calculated risks
- Discreet, professional and well spoken, with excellent communication/presentation skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Solid commercial marketing experience ideally gained in a luxury and/or online retail environment
- Significant exposure/management of social media
- Highly creative and strategic thinker
- Leadership potential to build a larger team as business scales with proven ability to manage
- Passionate about fashion and the industry
- Good relationships with bloggers and KOLs
