Essential Job Functions:
- Position Monster Energy brands as a recognized and trusted name within the beverage and lifestyle industry through the social media strategy in alignment with marketing strategy
- Works with regional and local digital and marketing leads to execute localized social marketing campaigns and strategies
- Identify new platforms and opportunities for Monster Energy as new digital trends emerge for each country
- Establish relationships with key brands/athletes/influences to ensure new opportunities for Monster Energy
- Directly manage Monster Energy’s agency partners within the China market, focusing on ensuring Monster is receiving excellent service and top-notch execution.
- Work with Digital Manager to ensure KPIs and content plans are being achieved nationally, especially as they relate to support services being offered by the agency partner to achieve said goals.
- Seek out innovative partnerships with KOLs, other brands, streaming platforms, etc. to further increase the awareness and appeal of the Monster brand amongst target demographic.
- Work with content team to recommend and develop content plans relevant to the audience online
- Utilize social media monitoring tools to proactively analyze and report feedback on current efforts
- Manage social media and media ad spends including budget reports
- Stay up to date on trends within the social media landscape
- Work with local digital managers to establish social media editorial calendars and plans aligned to marketing plans and objectives
- Report on findings and execute plans to optimize strategy and digital spends
- Lead our social media involvement in relevant emerging trends, applications and tools
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marketing experience required.
- Three or more years of online community building experience and strong technical knowledge of community platforms, systems, and software within China
- Experience with Community Management and extensive knowledge of the industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of online community as it relates to delivering business objectives.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple schedules and projects simultaneously.
- Must be focused, self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually
