The Intel Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) organization is responsible for driving the company's security-first mindset and communicating that Security Begins with Intel. This organization is part of the Security Center of Excellence - the hub of security practices and technologies for the company.

Intel is seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist to support our go-to-market programs, brand storytelling, and community engagement efforts for the Security Center of Excellence. In this role, you will report to the Executive and Go-to-Market Communications manager where you will own the social media strategy and creative development for Intel's voice on security.

As a key member of a cross-functional team, you will work with a creative agency, brand strategy, a network of social strategists across the company, PR, subject matter experts, and content developers. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, fluent in social culture and ideas, and have a deep understanding of insights, platforms, trends, and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Intel Security social strategy across owned and operated channels.

• Execute social concepts and programs to drive cultural relevance and conversation in the ecosystem.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to create engaging, organic, and paid media campaigns; deep dive into market research to understand the audience and geographical nuances.

• Use data and reporting to inform decisions and frequently share results and impact.

• Determine optimization plans alongside product marketers and other cross-functional partners.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of social platform features, new launches, and demonstrate a proven ability to apply these to improve marketing initiatives.

• Act as an internal expert and represent the corporation to external groups, agencies, and media vendors.

• Develop and maintain a social content calendar to support key launches and amplify Intel security messages.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, journalism, or advertising, with at least 4 years focused on social strategy.

• In-house or agency experience with social media management.

• Experience managing partners or agencies to develop content and creative work.

• Proven willingness to lead a social strategy and be a cross-functional team lead.

• Experience in social media, influencer marketing, or related with an advanced understanding of Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge in the technology space.
