We’re seeking an experienced and versatile team contributor to support a communications team that is building visibility and advancing awareness for the unique experiences and benefits only Airbnb can provide. The social media and influencer manager will help deliver stories and campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind, helping to stimulate word-of-mouth and supporting direct traffic to the site. This role will be responsible for developing and executing social influencer programs as well as producing compelling organic content strategies that drive engagement on owned social channels (particularly TikTok, Instagram and Twitter). 

The ideal candidate is curious, engaged, positive, detail and solution-oriented. The world and thus our industry is changing quickly so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with responding promptly and changing course as needed when priorities evolve and shift.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social influencer marketing strategies, working with cross functional stakeholders and partners to identify campaign goals and influencer roles.
  • Work closely with agencies to manage influencer projects and develop influencer facing-briefs.  
  • Identify and build relationships with social-first content creators and influencers.
  • Research relevant influencer insights including target audience and users.
  • Monitor, track, manage and analyze influencer and social campaigns using Airbnb preferred tools and platforms (CreatorIQ, Opal, Sprinklr).
  • Assist with spotting trends and conversation on social and identifying and executing newsjacking opportunities to drive positive conversation.
  • Own organic Brand social strategy, execution and reporting for select consumer campaigns.
  • Develop third party validator strategies and outreach for reputational campaigns on Instagram.
  • Consult on influencer content strategies for TikTok.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience in Social Media and Influencers
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in building and executing organic campaigns and influencer strategies across the following platforms: Instagram, Twitter and TikTok
  • Advanced experience in copywriting, adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Proven body of work and experience working with social-first influencers and content creators for large-scale and bespoke brand collaborations
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders on cross-functional projects
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A passion for pop culture and trends
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and influencer management tools i.e. Sprinklr, CreatorIQ
  • Experience with celebrity-level talent a plus

The starting base pay for this role is between $100,000 and $124,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
