Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Native English-speaking Social Studies & AP World History Teacher to join an international school in Shenzhen. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Social Studies and AP World History courses and supporting students’ academic growth in a global learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Social Studies and AP World History courses to high school students
Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with AP curriculum standards
Develop students’ critical thinking, historical analysis, and academic writing skills
Prepare students for AP World History assessments and examinations
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school activities

Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in History, Social Sciences, Education, or related field preferred
Teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / state license or equivalent) preferred
Relevant Social Studies / AP World History teaching experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Candidates currently in China with complete visa documents preferred
