Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Social Video Strategist to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Flexible hybrid work schedule available. Position Overview: The Social Video Strategist will oversee Eaton's video-centric platforms - primarily Instagram and YouTube - by providing strategic direction, executional expertise and management of those platforms. Reporting to the social and paid media operations manager, this role will be directly responsible for managing Eaton-owned Instagram accounts by developing and executing strategy, creating and overseeing video assets to support the platform's content volume, sourcing user-generated content, identifying and cultivating micro-influencer partnerships, publishing posts, stories and reels, conducting community management of comments and direct messages and measuring performance. This role will also support Eaton's enterprise YouTube account by identifying video optimizations, overseeing implementation of YouTube video setup best practices and developing YouTube video creative best practices to improve SEO rank and view performance. In this function you will: Develop and implement Instagram strategy for Eaton-owned Instagram accounts, inclusive of managing content cadence, Instagram functionality mix and asset types, audience growth plan, measurement plan and platform opportunities (e.g., user-generated content, micro-influencer partnership, live streams, etc.) Create "Insta-worthy" creative by shooting and/or editing video footage and/or overseeing development and execution of Instagram creative (inclusive of posts, stories and reels) by providing direction to Creative Center of Excellence Write compelling text to support platform posts, stories and reels, leveraging relevant hashtags to increase reach Publish posts, stories and reels Conduct community management by engaging with comments and direct messages Identify and secure permissions for user-generated content (UGC) for use on Instagram and Eaton webpage galleries Identify and cultivate relationships with micro-influencers on Instagram Enhance and manage enterprise YouTube strategy aligned with platform best practices and video setup optimizations Develop YouTube video best practices, guidance and training to upskill marketers in their video creation for the platform Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business, Marketing, Communications or associated field from an accredited institution At least 5 years of relevant marketing and communications experience, with an emphasis on social media strategy and social video creation Proficiency with social media tools for content scheduling, UGC sourcing, collaboration and management. (Bazaarvoice and Percolate experience a plus) Expert-level knowledge of Instagram and YouTube is required. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Knowledge of social media communications, including how to drive engagement, conversations and impact through social media. Video development (creative direction, shooting, editing) specifically for social media platforms. Content development, messaging and workflow management.
