1. Deliver high-quality teaching of IGCSE Sociology (Cambridge 0495) following theCambridge curriculum framework.
2. Design and implement lesson plans aligned with the scheme of work and assessment objectives.
3. Facilitate engaging, student-centered lessons that encourage critical thinking, sociological reasoning, and independent learning.
4. Assess and track student progress using formative and summative assessment tools.
5. Contribute to curriculum development and ensure alignment with IGCSE standards.
6. Foster a classroom environment that promotes discussion of social issues, cultures, and global perspectives.
7. Create a positive atmosphere of mutual respect that promotes students' self-esteem and motivation.
8. Actively participate in school activities, events,
and professional learning communities.
9. Provide academic guidance and support for students' university applications where appropriate.
10. Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enhance interdisciplinary learning.

1. Bachelor's degree or above in a related field.
2. Teaching certificate preferred. (PGCE, or equivalent). TESOL / TEFL qualification
or equivalent for candidates from non-education backgrounds.
3. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with the Cambridge IGCSE
Sociology syllabus.
4. Experience working in international or bilingual school settings is an advantage.
5. Native English speaker or fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
6. Passion for teaching, commitment to student development, and strong classroom management skills.
