The role:
Security Software Account Executive
Lenovo is looking for an Education Software Account Executive who will be
responsible for soliciting, qualifying, and closing new software opportunities
for Lenovo Education customers in North America. Working with the Lenovo
sales teams, marketing, customer success, and support teams to drive new
business and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Responsibilities:
• Selling Lenovo’s complete portfolio of education-related software to new and
existing customers
• Working with partners and teammates to drive deal progression from
identification to close
• Meeting quarterly revenue and profit targets
• Managing a Territory, including pipeline and CRM
• Demonstrating technical selling skills and product knowledge that lead to an
in-depth presentation of applicable products.
• Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, which
details activities to follow during the fiscal year that lead to meeting or
exceeding sales quota.
• Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
• Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with teachers,
technology coordinators and decision makers
#### Position Requirements:
Must have at least 3+ years’ experience in Sales and/or Education
Work Experience
• Skilled in determining needs and business value to customer
• Broad knowledge and experience with selling into Education.
• Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated experience dealing with
client face-to-face or virtually
• Ability to meet financial targets.
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
Other Dimensions
• Extensive level of industry acumen; keeps current with trends and able to
converse with client on issues and challenges at multiple levels of customer
management
• Demonstrates strong communications skills with customer management, as well
as executives
• Ability to leverage deep understanding of the competition - both
positioning strategy and technology - to create a competitive advantage for
company
