We are currently hiring for a highly motivated, A creative Software Architect to join the Siemens Mobility MRX team! On this team, you will articulate innovative solutions with brand new and curious thinking, with the opportunity to help build the next generation using the latest pioneering technologies. Integral to your success will be the ability to work optimally with stakeholders and collaborators of a diverse group of backgrounds and applying recognised methodologies and techniques when architecting, implementing, and governing solutions. This is your role, what part will you play? Proficient in applying and supporting the software development lifecycle across definition, design, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, testing, integration and rectification of developed software artifacts. Create plans, in conjunction with other members of customer account teams, to define how you will help your customers with their technical needs Share your technical knowledge broadly by participating in one-to-many sessions with larger groups of customers or internal collaborators Skills to have A leader mentality with a team-player attitude and an interest in learning from others, putting ego aside. A hands-on attitude to assist the team during implementation. Ideally, you will have solid front-end/backend development experience using Angular/React and C# .Net Core (3.1). Solid grasp of architecture patterns such as high availability/high performance, CQRS, Event sourcing, publish and subscriber, queueing, and Saga. Experience in translating user requirements into technical requirements at different levels (system, subsystem, component). Strong understanding of design patterns and ability to utilise them to design software which promotes extensibility, reliability, configurability, resiliency, and maintainability. Ability to write excellent technical documentation and diagrams to communicate optimally sophisticated technical designs and solutions to a range of stakeholders. Solid understanding of containerisation technologies and tooling such as Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes. Strong exposure and knowledge of brand new powerful Web technologies, frameworks, and tooling. Experience in integrating back-end web services using REST APIs Expert knowledge of at least one relational DBMS and in-memory caching software such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis and Elasticsearch. Up-to-date knowledge of current technology trends including, but not limited to, log aggregation, application monitoring and distributed tracing. Nice to have Experienced with working in Agile environments delivering technically ambitious projects. Experienced in architecting solutions using cloud technologies and services (Preferrably AWS). Experience working with software meeting security standards such as IEC 62443. AWS certifications and/or TOFAF certification. DevOps experience and experience in crafting and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
