Your new role – challenging and future-oriented Join our global center for radio transmission in rail control and safety technology. We develop processes and systems with which we modernize communication between rail vehicles, track as well as control centers and thus make rail traffic around the world safer, more efficient and more innovative. To this end, you will analyze the software requirements for radio systems and develop the basic system concepts for these new solutions. You will define the software architecture and manage the technical implementation in software components. You will also coordinate the resources for software development in an international team that is distributed across various locations. You develop innovative applications from prototype ("minimal viable product*) to product maturity. Your qualifications – solid and appropriate You have completed a master's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. communications engineering). In addition, you convince with several years of professional experience in software development or software architecture. You are proficient in C/C++ and Python. You have a background in radio or signal transmission. Therefore, you score with knowledge of network and mobile technology (e.g. IP, switching, routing, NATing, GSM-R, LTE, WLAN). To perform your task in an international team, you will have a very high command of English and a travel requirement (approx. 25%).
