About The Role:

 

At SDL R&D, we have over a decade of experience in designing, building and deploying large-scale cutting-edge software applications. We offer the opportunity of research and software development in a dynamic setting where you can have an enormous impact.

As a Software Engineer at SDL R&D, you research, design and implement solutions to interesting problems at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. You will use your knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and Artificial Intelligence to build SDL R&D next-generation products and platforms.

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced knowledge of at least one Object Oriented Programming language, excellent communication skills and the desire to build innovative complex software.

Responsibilities 

• Maintain and implement the algorithms needed to build our core AI/NLP library 

• Contribute to our NLP, Machine/Deep Learning, and Neural Network core library 

• Write efficient and scalable code 

• Maintaining the automated CI/CD framework, the unit and regression tests 

Qualifications 

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field 

• 3 years of relevant work experience including experience in production applications 

• Experience in standard C++ a must have.  

• Experience in basic text processing a must have (unicode encoding, ICU, UTF-8, ...) 

• Experience in source code versioning (git), data structures and algorithms a must have 

• Experience in regression testing, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Jenkins, ...) 

• Experience with Visual Studio (Linux/Unix a nice to have) 

• Experience in NLP, Deep Learning, Python, nice to have 

• Effective working in a team environment
