About The Role:

Software Developer participates on development of software products for internal purposes, realizes standalone or complex projects as a member of larger development team led by Senior Software Developer. He or she is responsible for finishing development work within agreed quality, scope and timeframe. It has the ability to be self-motivated and to create new solutions that enhance our ability to provide the best value to our customers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Development, testing and maintenance of existing and new features or entire product.
• Driving technical design, code professionalism and innovation.
• Leading technical solutions with stakeholders from production teams.
• Reporting progress and identifying, escalating, and removing obstacles that might endanger the agreed release dates.
• Reviewing peer deliverables.
• Active team participation including attending daily stand-up meetings and refinements.
• Assisting functional and technical testers.

 

Requirements:

• Advanced university student or university degree is an advantage.
• Experience with developing commercial software systems.
• Intermediate English.
• Previous experience with C# or Python development
• Knowledge in Ruby is an advantage.
• Native JavaScript and NodeJS / server-side development skills are an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of Git and Jira.
• OOP principles and ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Understanding concept of code testing.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience building event driven web applications using microservices is desired.
• Team player mentality.
• Problem solving skills, keeping an overview with an eye for detail.
• Pragmatic, get things done attitude with excellent organizational skills.
• Willing to learn.
