As part of the manufacturing group at Intel, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop software solutions (applications, divers and firmware) to ensure we deliver quality products to our customers. You will be working with a team of highly motivated experts in the domain, developing scalable software applications that work across OS ecosystems and across compute domains.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a t technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must be pursuing a Master's degree or a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering and 3+ months of experience in:

• Hardware and/or Software
• Design methodologies
• Programming
• Computer Architecture

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship experience

3+ months experience with:

• Data structures
• Algorithms
• Operating systems
• Usage of APIs

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
