We are looking for a software engineer to be responsible for design, implementation and optimization of innovative computer vision and AI algorithms for our upcoming products. Our team focuses on technologies related to image and video processing, camera calibration, computational photography, motion tracking and 3D reconstruction. 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do: 

  • Partner directly with a team of diverse and talented peers across disciplines including design, hardware engineering, Program Management, and Software Engineering 
  • Partner with the architects and the technical leadership team to deliver solid technical designs that satisfy requirements for multiple products and product families 
  • Own accurate costing for your engineering activities and tracking your work from design through to completion 
  • Execute with high accountability to schedule and quality 
  • Participate actively in detailed design, code reviews, bug/issue triage with feature teams and support well informed decisions towards engineering, customer and business goals. 
  • Maintain an unwavering focus on our customers, their problems and needs 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required: 

  • Deep native development skills in C++ design and coding, with strong debugging skills 
  • Experience with algorithms, mathematics, or statistics, particularly in fields related to computer vision or robotics 
  • Experience with Computer vision, image processing, video processing, or computational photography, SLAM, Robotic Perception, Depth Cameras, Motion Tracking, Deep Learning 
  • Outstanding technical problem solving and debugging ability 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
  • Proven experience collaborating across disciplines and broad teams 
  • Self-motivated to learn and execute with attention to detail in documentation and execution 
  • Ability to handle technical and design ambiguity 
  • Proven experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to final product 
  • A proven track record of shipping quality products on time 
  • A BS, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent 

 

There are plenty of other skills that are not required, but you’ll find useful in this role. Let us know if you have experience with: 

  • API design 
  • Computer Graphics: GPU, DirectX, HLSL, D3D, D3D11, or OpenGL 
  • Writing performance-critical code, experience with implementations using SIMD processor extensions (e.g. SSE/AVX/NEON) 
  • Mobile, embedded systems, systems on a chip (SoC), including performance and memory management 
  • Cameras in the mobile space, camera processing pipelines, ISP tuning, or image quality fundamentals 
  • Experience in software design on shipped consumer products or platforms
