In Corporate Functions Finance – FP&A organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a cross-site application developers to manage data for IT-related applications. The team is leveraging the Agile SCRUM methodology and is responsible for the support and the continual evolution of cross-Intel Finance budgeting and analytics solutions. The team is also on a journey to support world class Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). It touches all business groups, facilitates cross-corporation events and BKM sharing, drives stronger data analytics with all levels of management, works with senior management and external consultants on corporate projects, and works with both Finance and non-Finance groups.
In this position, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and/or onprem deployment models.
- Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software.
- May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.
- May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum
- Bachelor with 5+ years, or Masters+ with 3+ years in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and related science and technology majors.
- 5+ years of design, deployment, and management of scalable, fault tolerant distributed systems.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft 365/Azure frameworks.
- High level of English language proficiency.
Preferred
- Expertise in virtualization, containers, network, storage, security, orchestration, Software as a service.
- Expertise in optimizing workloads, deployment automation, CI/CD, Git.
- Experience in key security concepts: cryptography, data encryption, key/certificate, security, and access management.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Ruby, Python (Typescript and .NET web application developments a plus).
- Experience in configuration and deployment of data storage and security, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL.
- Experience in unit testing, automated integration testing, secure development lifecycle.
- Experience with one or more Intel application development and hosting platforms including but not limited to: CloudFoundry, CaaS, DBaas, FTDR, AGS, Azure, ActiveDirectory.
- Experience in SAP HANA/BW/SAP DS and Profisee is a plus.
Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
