Our team is seeking a highly motivated engineer to engage in the development of software tools for Intel's next generation CPU products. The team utilizes modern software development methodologies and programming languages.
This job includes developing new modules, supporting existing ones, and ensuring high code coverage. Code will be written in Kotlin in the IntelliJ IDE, and basic scripting in Python or Perl. The job requires strong software skills, the ability to learn new things, and openness to trying new technologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience with OOP languages, preferably have some level of experience with Java, Kotlin, or C#.
• Experience with modern programming pattern designs
• Basic experience with Unix and CShell commands
• Basic experience with scripting languages Python/Perl
• Coding oriented, writes maintainable code, and employs clean code practices (follows language spec)
• Willingness to learn and try new technologies
• Good English and communication skills

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
