Job Title_ Senior Camera Expert

Descriptions:

Poly’s camera team is seeking a talented and experienced Camera Engineer to work on next-generation leading edge camera products targeted for video conferencing.

In this position, you will work closely with HW/SW/Ops/Marketing teams, to execute the product development plan. You will also develop testing and validation procedures to assure optical component quality, develop tuning procedures to optimize image quality, and validate the performance of the cameras.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate camera components such as lenses, sensors, modules, control and monitor vendor’s component quality
• Tune camera ISPs for optimal quality, and perform video/image quality test
• Work with vendors and partners to design calibrations, production procedures and quality control
• Create camera product specifications, design prototypes, and verify designs
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to develop cameras
• Support operation team in mass production.
  

Qualification:

• 4+ years in camera system design
• Hands on experience of image quality tuning
• Hands on experience of camera module component quality analysis
• Excellent knowledge of digital image processing, image quality analysis
• Knowledge of camera components, including lens, sensor and camera modules
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• Following experience or knowledge will be a plus:
  - Familiar with ISP pipeline and fundamental algorithms.
  - Familiar with camera vendors and eco-systems.
  Education:
• A Bachelor or Master degree, in Optical Engineering, EE, Automation or Computer major
