Description
We are looking for an outstanding engineering intern who combine highly technical, research and analytical capabilities. As a member of Maps organization, you will be given the opportunity to con- tribute improving software quality, analyzing and researching user behavior base on usage big data and feature development. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong problem solving skills who can contribute in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis
• Strong programming skills with at least one object oriented programming language
• Experience with predictive modeling, customer profiling, hypothesis testing, regression techniques, and recommender systems
• Understanding of test methodology, concepts and quality metrics
• Highly motivated, organized and a “can-do” attitude
• Fluent communication in English
• Must be able to work 32+ hours a week throughout the internship program

Education
MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)



Additional Requirements

• Big data research is a plus
• GIS related research is a plus
• Thorough knowledge of iOS and Mac OS X
