We are looking for a software engineer student that wants to be part of the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools in support of various domains including design, manufacturing, validation, silicon production, systems integration, software application products, or ecosystem enabling. We utilizes modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products.

Qualifications

Candidate must posses the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

You must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely technical related field of study.

6+months of academic experience/knowledge in:

• Object oriented programming.
• .NET application development.
• C# programming language.
• Intermediate to advanced English Level
• Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica
• Willing to maintain an active student status for at least 1 year

Preferred Qualifications:

• Software testing knowledge (unit testing, test cases, etc.).
• Version control (Git)
• Continuous integration knowledge (Visual Studio Team Services, GitHub).
• Agile knowledge (Scrum).

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
