As a Software Development Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools in support of various domains including design, manufacturing, validation, silicon production, systems integration, software application products, or ecosystem enabling.
• Utilizes modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products.
• Examples of tools/systems include debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, PDKs, performance monitors, software tools and libraries, flows, and/or methodologies for design, manufacturing, validation, and test.

You'll be part of the Design Enablement/Process Design Kit (PDK) group, you will join a highly motivated team of talented engineers solving challenging technical problems enabling PDKs for Intel's most advanced process technologies and drive PDKs towards industry standard methods and ease of use for the end customers.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another closely related field with 2+ years of academic or professional experience in the following areas:

• Python or C/C++ or Java/Groovy
• Version control system (like Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas will a plus factor - VLSI design, Physical design automation or EDA tools
• Containerization using technologies like Docker, Singularity, etc., and orchestration systems like Kubernetes
• CI/CD (like GitHub Actions, Gitlab Runners, Jenkins, ...) and Automation tools
• Experience with building automation tools, REST API, MongoDB or other database tools
