Job Description

As software developer student worker, you'll be collaborating with a Software development team in activities such as the design, testing and maintenance of software systems used in microprocessor manufacturing and development.
You will have the opportunity to develop complex software solutions and learn industry-leading technologies, software development techniques and architecture strategies.

Some daily tasks may include:

  • Review software requirements.
  • Work with other developers to design algorithms and systems.
  • Write, verify and modify test cases.
  • Learn and produce clean, efficient code based on requirements.
  • Create and maintain users' manuals and documentation.
  • Verify, validate and deploy programs.

The ideal candidate should display:

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Licentiate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or other - Software development oriented career
  • Basic\intermediate academic experience in programming languages (such as C#, Java, C++, Javascript)
  • Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica
  • Be willing to stay active as student for a year


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software testing technologies (unit, functional, system level tests)
  • - Basic knowledge in Non-relational databases.



Any Professional Experience on software development is preferred but not mandatory.

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.



Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
