The MPE (Manufacturing and Product Engineering) TLO (Tech Leadership Office) CTT (Concurrency Test Technologies) Team is driving a paradigm shift in manufacturing test which is crucial for Intel's competitive success in the market, primarily by revolutionizing Intel's testing methodologies and driving down test time costs. These solutions which are being developed by the CTT team are used by multiple Intel projects in all stages of production - from design to silicon, with a wide scope and meaningful impact.
The team is seeking a highly motivated SW student to engage in the development, optimization and maintenance of software tools for top notch manufacturing test capabilities. The team utilizes modern software development methodologies and programming languages.
This job includes developing new modules, supporting existing ones, and ensuring high code coverage. Code will be written in Kotlin in the IntelliJ IDE, and basic scripting in Python or Perl. The job requires strong software skills, ability to learn new things, and openness for trying new technologies.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
� BSc/MSc student in Computer Engineering/Computer Science with around 1.5 years remainder before graduation
� Is coding oriented, writes maintainable code, and employs clean code practices (follows language spec)
� Willingness to learn and try new technologies
� Good English and communication skill
Preferred Qualifications:
� Experience with OOP languages, preferably have some level of experience with Java, Kotlin, or C#.
� Experience with modern programming pattern designs
� Basic experience with Unix and CShell commands
� Basic experience with scripting languages Python/Perl

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
