As a software developer student worker, you'll be working in the design, testing, and maintenance of software systems used in microprocessor manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to develop complex software solutions in C++ and C#.
The list of tasks includes:
- Review software requirements with internal and/or external customers.
- Work with developers to design algorithms to implement Microprocessor test solutions.
- Write, verify and modify test cases for implemented software changes.
- Produce clean, efficient code based on requirements.
- Create and maintain customer manuals and documentation.
- Verify, validate and deploy programs as part of the release cycle.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently coursing bachelor or Lic in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science career.
- 50 percent of courses completed or equivalent experience programming.
- Willing to remain as an active student for at least 1 year
- Experience with software development in C++ and C#
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (C++, C#)
- Intermediate verbal and written English communication (B1 or above)
- The candidate must have the unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software testing
- Experience using GIT as source code version control system
- Create and edit dynamic link libraries using the development tool Visual Studio
- Experience working on developing microprocessor test methodologies

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
