Job Description

Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is leading the way to transform the Datacenter with a portfolio of FPGA accelerated platforms and software frameworks for end applications such as VRAN and Cloud Infrastructure Processing.

In this position, you will be joining the Customer Experience Group as a Software Enabling and Optimization Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Directing a team of software professionals responsible for developing, enabling, or optimizing Intel technology for customer/ecosystem products through co-engineering and providing high quality and stable platforms of integrated Hardware and Software.
  • Scope of development and expertise spans systems software, firmware, drivers, high performance computing, development tools, enterprise applications, consumer applications, and user interfaces.
  • Developing and maintaining a healthy portfolio of ecosystem partners.
  • Providing technical leadership and collaborates with external partners, domain experts, planners, and business unit stakeholders.
  • Setting priorities for the team, achieves results across boundaries, ensures an inclusive work environment, develops employees, and manages performance.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related STEM fields (documentation related to Bachelor's degree completion will be required).  
  • 5+ years engineering of one of the following:
    • Software / Driver development
    • HW (Hardware) / Board development
    • SV (System Validation)
    • Applications engineering
    • Test engineering
    • Embedded software
  • 3+ years of leadership experience to effectively drive teams and get results across the matrixed organizations in the program.
  • 2+ years of experience in program management.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in data center networking, ethernet, HW offload or acceleration, and virtualization technologies.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
