HPC cluster application workload performance optimization, competitive analysis, software differentiation and workload performance estimation for future platforms and architectural features.
Responsibilities include
Deep architecture leadership across cluster scalability, performance ISA, pre si tracing and simulation, fabric and memory.
Leadership response to competitive benchmarking for HPC cluster workloads across CPU and GPU.
Exploiting deep architecture and domain expertise, lead exploration, prototyping and promotion of software differentiation methods, tools and workloads.
Identify and advance opportunities to help top industry developers realize and promote optimal productivity, performance and compatibility while exploiting oneAPI.
Collaborating closely with the architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams at Intel, influence the design of next-generation platforms and platform features.
Guide collaborations with partners, customers, and the open source community, leading the development of marketing collateral to reveal and promote the IA value proposition and coordination among fellow travelers.
Qualifications
Bachelor/Master's degree in computational science, computer engineering, physics or related/equivalent work experience
Mastery and demonstrated leadership in optimizing HPC based workloads based upon Intel tools (AVX512, SDE, Simics, oneAPI, VTune, cluster toolkit), advanced profiing and tracing tools and workload scalability optimization based upon Intel MPI.
Proven track record in Cluster Application performance optimization in at least one but preferably multiple vertical segments domains coupled with leadership in C/C++/Fortran Parallel Computing and Software design/programming techniques, performance analysis, algorithms, linear algebra, numerical methods.
Desirable skills:
Machine Learning/data science
Compiler and performance library development experience
Multi-disciplinary HPC workload optimization and benchmarking experience
