Position Description: Team Description : The Experience team within the Software organization at Motorola leads development of some of the signature novel experiences on Motorola phones and devices. All these unique experiences rest on Motorola innovated hardware enablers and software enablers.The aim is to invent and develop seamless, fluid interactions that provide information or take action in the right way, at the right time.The group uses a wide spectrum of technologies to develop applications that, in general, span the device as well as the cloud. Technologies used include Android frameworks and APIs; a range of web application models, frameworks and tools; context-based signals, algorithms and applications; machine learning and natural language processing; data analytics and visualization; and the Google Cloud platform. Job Responsibilities : As an Engineer working for the Experience Team, he will design and implement flagship customer experiences meeting the product requirements.. Some of the key requirements are as below. (1) Strong Analytical & Logical reasoning. (2) Flexible team player with good communication skills. (3) Understand and leverage the hardware/software platform enablers to craft innovative use cases or solve key pain points of the next generation user. (4) Possess strong Object-Oriented Design and coding skills. (5) Hands-on expertise of Android Software Development. #### Position Requirements: ● 1-3 years of experience in software development with Android, Java and Linux. ● Strong background in object oriented design and coding. ● Demonstrated experience on developing innovative Android Applications. ● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. ● Results oriented, product focused team player, who values the project, company and co-workers. ● High energy and passion towards integrating new experiences and application from inception to deployment. Added Advantage : ● Experience in using Machine Learning and AI to solve issues ● Expertise in source control management tools like Git, Gerrit. ● Agile(Scrum) development experience ● Deep understanding of Android Platform (framework, middleware & extensions) experience ● Experience in performance, memory and battery consumption analysis and optimization techniques on Mobile devices.
