Responsibilities may be quite diverse and are technical in nature.

Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with Validation Engineers and/or Emulation Engineers in the design, development and utilization of productivity enhancement tools and systems software. Determines computer user needs advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity processing speed and input/output requirements designs and develops compilers and assemblers utility programs and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education judgement and formal software process.

Candidate will be part of the system validation team responsible for developing SW for automation of validation collateral generation that will be used in pre and postSi validation environments. Responsibilities include development and integration of software in python and ruby environments generating and debugging integration scripts to run software on validation logs.

This position provides a challenging opportunity in developing next generation of technologies for automating SOC Validation process as well as becoming familiar with SOC development and execution.

Qualifications

This position requires a BS or MS in Electronics/Electrical or computer engineering or equivalent and 2+ years of experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Experience Intel Architecture including Client/Server CPU and PCH platforms.
- Computer architectures and interfaces.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux and python programming.

- Experience in other programming languages like C/C++ or ruby.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Communication skills both in Spanish and English
- Candidate must have engineering background with strong software development skills
- Candidate must have strong ability to analyze resolve and communicate clearly with product validation and design engineers.
