Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybridcloud, and/or onprem deployment models. Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software. May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud. May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in C/C++/python development in a Linux environment.
4+ years of experience with embedded systems, practical knowledge of Internet protocols for example (TCP/IP operation).
4+ years of experience with Linux programming concepts.
4+ years of experience in ACL, QoS, L2/L3 Ethernet switching and routing protocols.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of industry work experience.
An understanding of data protection solutions for file systems, storage, and cloud technologies is an advantage.
Experience in developing SDKs in cloud computing environment a plus.
Experience in open source implementations will be a plus.
Experience in working with cross-geo communities and customers will be highly desirable.
Experience with P4 network protocol will be a plus.
