About Role :

RWS is looking for a SSRS/SSIS Engineer to work as part of our software development and support team.

This is a Microsoft SSRS/SSIS Development role largely responsible for creating, maintaining, deploying and managing reports for customers and create SSIS packages.

Candidates will work collaboratively with Software Development Engineers, other IT staff, and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support SSRS reports in a compliant, regulated environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is to drive design, development and maintenance of data warehouse / ETL processes.
• Developing, testing and deploying SSRS reports to production environments.
• Communicating with report consumers and other stakeholders to elicit and document reporting requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Installation, administration and configuration of SSRS servers.
• Designing ETL packages and modification of SSIS packages.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration & automate existing queries in MS SQL Server.

 

Skill Set:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL databases, SSRS / SSIS development.
• Demonstrated Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and above including managing databases and the use of Microsoft SSMS
• Demonstrated experience around writing and troubleshooting SQL statements, creating stored procedures, views, and SQL functions
• Experience developing sophisticated SSRS reports against complex data sets.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to define systemic requirements for reports to ensure maintainability and perform acceptance testing.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving errors in complex reports.
