Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of our application, as well as assisting other departments on technological related issues such as automation of business operations and design of analytics features.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and deploy web application independently
• Study, employ and integrate any useful new technology for our application platform
• Conduct regular quality assurance and security testings to make sure our platform is up to industry standard
• Any other ad-hoc tasks related to technology and operations

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or Equivalent
• 0-3 years experience in web application development and design
• Experience and knowledge in the following skills:
  • HTML/CSS
  • JavaScript front/backend frameworks
  • PHP frameworks
  • MySQL or any other RDBMS
  • Knowledge in Linux/Ubuntu, AWS, Cloud Infrastructure, Network security, Scripting language such as Python/Perl will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of written/spoken Chinese(Cantonese) and English
• Ability to work under fast-paced environment
• A good team player, independent, responsible, and has strong desire to learn and understand new technologies
