Our current platform, Griffin, is used by teams ranging from large mature services such as the Office Web Apps, to the various small incubation services; all looking for our help to deliver awesome experiences in a trusted manner to their customers. Across the industry, cloud services have evolved from monoliths with standard compute-storage requirements, to small and agile services consuming unique combinations of targeted resources. The Griffin team is chartered with taking this technology, and building a scalable, agile and trusted platform.
The primary focus of this role is to design and build a converged platform modernizing services to embrace microservices and next generation technologies supporting them.
To reach this goal is not easy – some of our services have over a hundred million active customers. Our largest enterprise customers expect a high bar of quality and compliance with each of our changes. At the same time, we won’t be alone in our efforts. We will be leveraging leading edge technologies provided by Azure, Visual Studio, as well as our partner teams within Office. What is certain though, is the immense potential impact in transforming the way Office works.

Responsibilities
In this position, you will build the tools, technologies, and services that enable engineering for Office365. You will be responsible for building large-scale services as well as ensuring that the day-to-day experience of engineers are both efficient and empowering.
Qualifications
2-4 years of software development experience in the commercial software industry
BS in Computer Science or Engineer or equivalent industry experience
Prefer experience with C#, C++, PowerShell, Web Services
A working, understanding of agile practices a plus
Build and/or infrastructure experience a plus
