Havok has been at the cutting edge of innovation in game development and interactive 3D for almost two decades. Havok offers a modular suite of software development kits for game engines with state–of–the–art physics simulation and pathfinding— putting power back in the hands of creators. And now as part of Cognition, the team responsible for HoloLens, we also using that expertise to develop new exciting products and services that drive Mixed Reality experiences.

Responsibilities
Roles in Havok will evolve over time but you can expect responsibilities to include some of the below:
- Design, develop, test and deliver high quality, efficient and clean multiplatform C++ code
- Develop highly scalable Azure services
- Write cross-platform, multithreaded engine code
- Work directly with internal and external customers to drive product development
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- Experience and interest in interactive 3D, AR or VR
- C++ coding and debugging skills
- An ability to work in a team environment on a shared code base
- Knowledge of 3D math and algebra
Bonus points:
There are plenty of other skills that aren’t required, but that are valuable across the team and these include:
- C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript, TypeScript, React
- Cloud and distributed services technologies
- Unity, Unreal or related game engine
- Networking and backend services
- Performance optimization
