The M365 Substrate Management team needs the best and brightest to help take our services to the next level, with high availability, rapid growth, autonomic recovery, global scale, and infrastructure investments in vNext including Azure.  This role is in the Azure Convergence team in M365 Substrate Management team, working on architecture, design and implementation of vNext capacity infrastructure to provide cloud compute and storage fabric for M365 services, as well as maintain their availability, health, compliance and security.  The team is mission critical for M365 services to meet the rapidly growing and complex capacity demands.  Our team has a great mix of talent and we are looking to add to it so we can continue to improve and innovate for the Substrate Management Infrastructure. 

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities:

• Design and implement vNext for O365 Substrate capacity management infrastructure
• Collaborate with partner teams to onboard services to the new capacity management infrastructure

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of 3+ years’ experience using C#, Java or similar languages.

Experience with hardware, Windows OS, networking are a definite plus; experience in mid-tier development, web services, and/or database development are also a plus. 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
