About The Position

As a software engineer you’ll develop end-to-end CRM/CDP related applications to support our digital business, regardless of tools or languages, You will be working with product owner closely to fulfill business and technical needs.  You also have a passion for building DevOps tools that make it easier for people to build, deploy and scale their software on CRM/CDP platform.

You will be fully integrated into agile development process.

Responsibilities
 

• To take part to the internal development.
• Writing well structured, testable, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Design, implement integration with internal and external systems.
• Drive refactoring of legacy systems, to help enable decoupling and modernize the software architecture.
• Build the simplest possible solution that fulfils functional and quality requirements.
• Actively apply best practices within CI/CD.
• Ensure high quality of developed technical solutions.
• Deliver on time, demonstrating strong commitment to deliver on the team mission and agreed backlog.
• Create knowledge base and produce the necessary documentation.
   

Skills and Abilities

• “Hands on” Experience with modern full stack programming.
• Familiarity with design pattern, containerization and microservice.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL DBMS technologies (MySQL, key-value stores, time series database, etc.).
• Strong ability with trouble shooting.
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchain, Git/Jira/Confluence/Jenkins etc.
• Familiarity with open source framework/component/libraries
• Good knowledge of E-commerce ecosystem/OMS/WMS is a plus.
• Experience of CDP/CRM open platform is a big plus.
• Experience of B2C open platform is a big plus.
• Solve complex problems with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• The technical aptitude and experience to learn new technologies.
• Absorb and apply the latest trends and technologies within software design, architecture and engineering.
• Must be Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and avaliabel to work in China 

This is a fulltime position with placement in Hong Kong. You will report to Head of Domain at Business Tech.
