Job Description

The Intel Manufacturing and Operation Automation team is looking for a highly motivated a full stack developer with strong software development skills. You will be responsible for engaging with customers and performing product development from ideation to deployment and beyond. This position is a technical role that requires the direct design and development of robust, scalable, performant systems for world-class manufacturing applications, together with supporting collaterals such as unit tests and build automation pipelines.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

Creation of responsive and reusable application components with proper security (authorization and authentication).

Development of semiconductor-related applications.

UI build and deployment, plus maintenance of UI software.

Gather usage stats, profile and performance tuning to ensure best application experience to customers across the globe (multiple Intel sites with 500+ users.

Focus on automated testing and robust monitoring.

This is for a 1 year contract.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study with 4+ years of industry/post-university experience.
  • Fluency in programming using  .NET , C#.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with SQL Databases + SSIS.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Scripting language  (PEARL, etc.).
  • Cloud exposure ( Azure, etc.).
  • Source control tools (Like GIT or TFS or other equivalents) and skills to review code.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group:  The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices.  The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
