Leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools in support of various domains including design, manufacturing, validation, silicon production, systems integration, software application products, or ecosystem enabling. Utilizes modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture Intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products.

Examples of tools/systems include debuggers, analyzers, performance monitors, software tools and libraries, flows, and/or methodologies for design, manufacturing, validation, and test.

This internship position has a length of 6+ months with the possibility to extend it as per business' needs.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must be pursuing a Master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

3+ months of experience in the following areas:

• Object oriented programming and/or software design

• Proficient at scripting language: Python, Tcl, or shell scripting

• Experience with Unix environment

$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
