The Universal Outlook team builds the in-box Mail and Calendar apps that ship with Windows. With over 100 million monthly active users through all service providers, such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, and Office 365, it is both a big responsibility and a huge opportunity.

You will have the opportunity to partner across both Outlook and Windows. Our team gets to showcase new experiences and delighters from Windows, like integrating contacts and event creation in the Windows Shell. We also get to harness the power of the cloud through functionality such as Focused Inbox. It all comes together in a fast, beautiful, intelligent app that serves a wide ecosystem of devices and a diverse set of users.

Responsibilities

• Make changes that you can flight quickly through the Windows Store

This is an SDE-2 level position with the opportunity for advancement:

• Implement high visibility user interfaces
• Partner with teams in Outlook, Office, and Windows
• Use data to decide on product and experience directions
• Learn from others and share experiences and knowledge with other members of the team

Qualifications

As such, this position requires that you:

• Have 2+ years of experience in the technology industry
• Can work with Typescript and C++ code
• Can work with Git
• Are able to learn other frameworks, such as React Native and XAML
