We own a critical backend execution engine for the M365 Substrate and a large scaled inventory. We run billions of workflows a month against 300k+ machines all around the globe, all while ensuring our customers the security and privacy they demand. We seek an engineer to help us evolve the central components of our service to keep up with ever-increasing scale.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with others to develop, evolve and improve services used to keep M365 running
- Design and implement new features and improvements to existing features and designs
- Listen to users and leverage insights to build high-quality services people love to use
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of 3+ years’ experience using C#, Java or similar languages.

- Technical Excellence – Technical excellence is at the heart of software engineering. This is demonstrating a passion for technology and the engineering craft, a curiosity to ‘go deep’, being able to quickly learn and build upon past experiences, and being able to extrapolate from those experiences and deliver innovation. Technical excellence is rooted in demonstrating a strong aptitude for problem solving.
- An ideal candidate would have experience designing, implementing, debugging and testing complex distributed services.
- Data experience such as GraphDB is welcome as well.
