Job Description

Join us in improving the experience of updating Windows for enterprises. You will use large data sets and build near real time data processing pipelines and services on Azure. We aspire to make the job of IT pros around the world easier by bringing insights from data to the update deployment process.

 

Our team will deliver advances in letting the IT admin tell us what they want to do, then have our intelligent system do the hard parts, and adapt in real time. You can help us enable a low touch environment for enterprises to keep their users protected and productive.

Responsibilities

Our team just announced our first public preview at Ignite and it generated a lot of customer excitement. We need your help to write the second chapter of our team’s story. As a software engineer in the team, you will design and develop highly scalable intelligent services, experiences, and data platforms to enable enterprise customers to adopt and stay on Windows as a Service. You will work with other friendly engineers within the team and other enterprise-focused teams to build a seamless experience for our customers to plan, deploy, analyze and adapt with the help of our intelligent systems . You will collaborate with Program Management to understand the needs of IT Pros and develop a plan that adds customer value in a way that maintains engineering efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years as a Software Engineer/Developer

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with services or big data
  • Experience with any of the following is helpful but not required: Hadoop/Spark, Azure ecosystem especially Cosmos DB or ADLS, C#, REST

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
